The first thing you must know about me is that I am a mom.  My husband and I have a son who is almost twenty and a daughter who is sixteen.  Being a mom is my biggest acomplishment and what brings me the most joy.

I am also an educator.  I have taught children and/or teachers for the past 26 years and hope to continue to do so for many years to come.  I believe without a doubt that teaching is what I am meant to do, and I have had some wonderful experiences over the years.

My family lives in a nice, middle class neighborhood in a nice Midwest town.  We have a pretty brick home on a quiet cul-de-sac. My husband is a claims adjuster for a major insurance company. I have a subsription to “Southern Living” magazine and a favorite recipe for meatlof.

I bet you can’t wait to read every word I write after reading that intro!  Well rest assured, people don’t tell me I should write a book for no reason.  I have stories, and lots of them.  Most are hilarious, and some are heartbreaking, but all of them are part of me.  I hope you’ll take the time to read them.
